Last weekend I, non-resident, wanted to visit NYC. Went to Broad St lot. Saw no person like there used to be. Situation (parking free on Weekends) unclear and contradicted by a notice stuck close to the machine, which actually mentions non-free Saturdays. Parked car in non-resident spot. Entered license plate. Very confusing message on the machine ("No rate plan" or something) Met three other people who were confused and left frustrated. I ended up parking in DeForest lot with the silly new fees, only to discover today that parking at Broad St lot would have been free.
Please review ticket machine messaging on Broad St lot for weekends, improve signage, remove the confusing "rates have changed Sept 6 or 7" flyer on the left.
