Seriously? People speed past 25 mph on residential streets all the time in 07901 and you've a problem with a neighbor encouraging drivers to slow down? Because it violates zoning? Do you know that idling violates an ordinance? Or that lawn pesticide and fertilizer pollutes our waterways?
If only Summit PD would acknowledge and resolve the real issues which led to the signs being installed. Every day motorists use Sayre Street and William Street as shortcuts at a high rate of speed to avoid traffic on either Morris Ave or Mountain Ave during peak travel. Not to mention both streets are plagued with parked vehicles every day from non-residents due to the proximity to the hospital, which creates more traffic on the residential streets.
