Description
Why aren't there more signs in the middle of the street (there is only one and it is often disabled) to slow Ashland Rd traffic at corner of Tulip? Excess speed is the norm, cars don't stop for pedestrians waiting at crosswalk. Lots of kids cross here to go to Brayton playgrounds and Memorial Field. Much more needs to be done to protect kids crossing, slow car speeds and heighten driver awareness.

We will be adding signs to the intersection. The one that was there was destroyed and will be replaced. We are looking at adding one further down Ashland Road toward Laurel Avenue.
Thank you for your concerns.
